The 8th International Conference ECOLOGICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY 2027 (EEC-2027) provides the opportunities to exchange the latest ideas, to present and discuss recent results on the physical-chemical and biochemical aspects of processes, which take part in the ecosystem – soil, air and water, and promising approaches of sustainable development including engineering and modeling, as well as social and educational implications.
The aim of the conference is to encourage and facilitate the interdisciplinary communication among young and experienced scientists, engineers, economists, teachers and professionals working on environmental issues and sustainable development attracting scientists and engineers from Europe, NIS, U.S.A. and other countries.
Ecological Chemistry started to develop in Moldova in 1985 when the First International Ecological Chemistry School was conducted. For more than 40 years this field is intensively expanding, being one among several priorities for sustainable development of the national economy.
The 8th International Conference ECOLOGICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY 2027 is part of a series of successful conferences organized in 1995, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2017, 2022 supported by UNESCO, MFGS, CRDF/MRDA, ONRG, as well as by several local R&D organizations such as Moldova State University, Institute of Chemistry, Chemical Society of the Republic of Moldova, Department of Ecological and Industrial Chemistry ”Academician Gheorghe Duca”, Moldovan Research and Development Association, etc.
Besides, within the event will be possible to initiate discussions on networking and consortiums development for participation in the EU Framework Research and Innovation Programme HORIZON EUROPE (2028-2034) and other related Programmes in the field.
